What if every farm visit could be more than leisure?
What if it could inspire you to think differently about food, sustainability, and community?
That’s the vision behind Green Agritainment—a European Erasmus+ project that blends agriculture, entertainment, and education into meaningful, hands-on experiences. And now, this vision has a new home: the official project website is live at greenagritainment.com.

Agritainment in a Nutshell
Agritainment takes the best of agritourism—farm stays, vineyard tours, cooking workshops—and transforms them into interactive learning experiences. It’s not just about tasting wine; it’s about harvesting the grapes. It’s not only a family outing; it’s a chance to teach children where food comes from and why sustainability matters.
The goal? To make sustainability fun, accessible, and memorable. When people learn through leisure, they’re far more likely to carry those lessons into daily life.
Why This Project Matters
Across Europe, rural businesses face challenges: seasonality, shrinking margins, and the need to adapt to eco-conscious travellers. At the same time, guests want more than relaxation—they want experiences that align with their values.
Agritainment is the bridge. By offering activities that are both entertaining and educational, rural entrepreneurs can diversify revenue, extend tourist seasons, and become champions of sustainability.
The Green Agritainment project (2024–2026) is making this vision practical. It will deliver:
A competence model for agritainment, to guide VET trainers and professionals.
A digital MOOC (360 minutes of training) for learners in hospitality and tourism.
An impact measurement tool to track changes in pro-environmental behavior.
An Atlas of 100 practices showcasing innovative agritainment practices.
The Launch of Our Website
With the launch of greenagritainment.com, we now have a central hub where anyone—hospitality professionals, educators, rural entrepreneurs, or curious travelers—can explore the project.
On the site, you’ll find:
Project background and goals.
Updates on progress and upcoming events.
Insights into how agritainment is being implemented across partner countries.
Resources that will grow as the project unfolds.
For us at T.H.E. Management, this is more than a digital milestone. It’s a chance to showcase our contribution: helping shape hospitality-focused agritainment experiences, supporting VET learners, and ensuring dissemination across Romania and beyond.
Looking Ahead
As the project moves forward, the website will become a living resource—a place to learn, share, and get inspired. From research findings to training modules, it will bring together knowledge and practice from across Europe.
Agritainment is not just a concept; it’s a movement. And now, with the launch of our website, it’s easier than ever to join in.
Final Thought
The future of hospitality is about more than service—it’s about meaningful, memorable experiences. Agritainment shows us that farms can be classrooms, leisure can be education, and fun can drive real change.
Visit the new website at greenagritainment.com and discover how we’re cultivating sustainability, one experience at a time.
